This pinot is a great friend of ours. It all started when he walked in wearing a suit and tie. He was gracious in his offerings of dark cherry, rich cola and butterscotch so we invited him to dinner. Arriving at the ranch, the suit was gone, the boots were on and the stories of well-worn leather and spice began.
Well worn jeans that whisper of planning, pruning, tasting and toiling about each detail. Boots that tell the story of each harvest, each step walked among the vines. Cool foggy mornings and rich orange sunsets perfectly painted by mother nature’s brush. Each bottle’s story is written by hand with the first chapters belonging to us and the rich delicious ending all yours. Sharing our “home” with you is what we set out to do and lambda is the “magnitude” of that effort. It is the culmination of what we see when we look out upon our vineyard. It is our dream come true and it continues to unfold and teach us with each passing season.

The air is an intoxicating mix of rose petals, violets, hints of gardenia and the fine mist of a gritty dirt road. A shy smile evolves as the song on the radio beckons memories of succulent farmers market strawberries. Freshly baked pain au chocolat and hand picked cherries.
It's personal our 'gamma' is Rebecca favorite wine. Always has been, always will be. Just like the lady who loves her so - she is strong, with a spine of dark fruit and spicy notes of pepper. There is no doubt that she can hold her own. She is balanced, with complex layers of caramelized mango and river worn pebbles. She is subtle, commanding a room with only a whisper of delicate white flowers. She is a TRUE beauty.
